By: Rabbi Lior Lavie

Rich said to Kish:
He who spits spit (saliva) before his rabbi is despised by him, and he must die for it by heaven, for it is said, "Every one who hates loves death" (Proverbs 8: 5) This spit.

And they wonder: And he is a rapist, for no man coughs and spits saliva except because of rape, and why would he consider it a crime?

And respondents: In such a case he should have gone out before his rabbi and spat outside.

More than once we hear allegations of vulgar or inappropriate behavior under the auspices of the claim that this is human nature and there is nothing to be ashamed of and hide.
